I CAN TOO have been supporting two existing therapeutic centers for children with special needs in Sofia, Bulgaria. The organization helps them by contributing both financially and in-kind to partially cover their expenses for rehabilitation, distinctive auxiliaries, maintenance and renovation of premises, clothes and consumables, dippers, transportation fees, etc.

Day-Care Center for Hope for Children with Multiple Disabilities

The rehabillitation Center helps over 50 children with severe diagnoses and their families.

The families mainly consist of a single mother, who has decided to raise her disabled child alone instead of institutionalizing them. It is extremely hard for a single mother to simultaneously be her child’s parent, friend and therapist full time. Her non-stop dedication to her kid deprives her of the time and opportunity to work and support their family financially. She has no time to socialize which leads to depression.
Siblings, on the other hand, required to prematurely fulfill the role of a second parent, are not able to receive education and develop their own talents.
This determines the pressing need for specialized Centers, providing day-care treatment for children with special needs.

For the optimal quality of the therapy of the children in Center for Hope, funds are required for: salaries of at least two rehabilitators, special vehicle for transportation of children to the Center, auxiliaries, consumables, medications, etc.

Louis Braille School for Visually Impaired Children

The school provides special education and support to over 110 blind and visually impaired children aged 6 to 18 years from Sofia and all around Bulgaria.

For maintaining the school, funds are required for:

salaries of at least two special assistants, braille paper, dippers and medications, food, transportation, maintenance of the premises and the sensory garden, etc.

Donate now to support the centers!

You can support those children also by in-kind donations.
